Mike Collier Launches Reform UK Campaign for Clackmannanshire and Dunblane
Mike Collier has officially launched his Reform UK campaign for the Clackmannanshire and Dunblane constituency, with a launch event in Alloa attended by supporters from across both the Clackmannanshire and Dunblane areas of the constituency. Setting out his priorities, Mr Collier focused on banking access, reducing the council tax burden, securing the Forth Valley College campus, improving mental health services, and backing economic development through the Alloa Innovation Hub. 'The Wee County has a big heart and an extraordinary amount to offer,' said Mr Collier. 'Alloa, the Hillfoots, Dunblane — these are wonderful communities, and the people in them deserve to have their concerns heard and acted on. Too often, Clackmannanshire feels like an afterthought.' He said that the combination of the banking crisis, the 13% council tax rise, and uncertainty over the college campus demonstrated that the Wee County needed a stronger voice in Holyrood. 'Keith Brown has represented this area for 25 years. In that time, Clackmannanshire has had its banks close, its council tax rise, and its young people struggling to find quality jobs locally. It is time for a different approach.' He pledged a vigorous campaign across all parts of the constituency, including regular presence in Dunblane, Alloa, Alva, Tillicoultry, and Dollar.
